Bologna – Milan
Bologna welcomes Milan at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara in a game from the 15th week of the Serie A.
These two teams are currently separated by just one point and one position in the Serie A standings. Milan are 11th in the table with 17 points, while Bologna are 12th with 16 points. If the Rossoblu manage to win this one, they will improve their position in the standings. The same could be said about the Rossoneri as well – they can climb up if they win this one.
After a long run without a win, Bologna finally achieved their 4th win for the season in the previous round. Sinisa Mihajlovic’ boys visited Napoli at the Stadio San Paolo and enjoyed a prestigious 2-1 win over one of the biggest clubs in the country. Fernando Llorente put Napoli ahead, but after the break Bologna secured the win with goals from Andreas Olsen and Nicola Sansone. This win in Naples should give the Rossoblu a good confidence before hosting Milan.
For Milan it looks like another mediocre season. The Rossoneri are out of the Top 10 and they already sacked the manager Marco Giampaolo, replacing him with Stefano Pioli. Things are not going great for the club and the fans are getting more and more impatient.
In the previous round Milan recorded a win, though. The Rossoneri faced Parma at the Ennio Tardini and won the game with 1-0. The French left back Theo Hernandez scored the only goal in the game just two minutes before the end.
Both teams won their last games in the Serie A, so they will not lack confidence when they meet at the Renato Dall’Ara on Sunday. Bologna and Milan are pretty similar in terms of quality at the moment, so it’s a game that is difficult for prediction.
