Eintracht Frankfurt – Hoffenheim
Eintracht Frankfurt hosts Hoffenheim at the Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt in a match from the third round of the Bundesliga. Both teams are unbeaten since the beginning of the campaign, so let’s see what’s going to happen.
Eintracht Frankfurt won four points in their first two games for the 2020/21 season. In their first match Eintracht made a dissapointing 1-1 draw with Arminia at home, but in their second one they visited Hertha BSC in the capital and achieved a 3-1 win. Andre Silva scored the first one from a penalty kick while Bas Dost and Sebastian Rode finished the home team.
Eintracht Frankfurt’s manager Adi Hutter has some squad problems before the next game. Filip Kostic, Obite N’Dicka and Jetro Willems are all recovering from injuries. Their fitness might not be good enough to play.
Hoffenheim are the current leaders in the Bundesliga after the first two rounds. They shocked whole Germany when they recorded a 4-1 win against treble winners Bayern Munich in the second round. Nobody expected such a performance, but Hoffe showed how good they can be.
Andrej Kramaric scored twice against Bayern Munich and now he has five goals from two games played in the Bundesliga. Meanwhile Ermin Bicakcic and Munas Dabour also scored for Hoffenheim. The manager Sebastian Hoeneb and his players deserve compliments for what they did against probably the best team in Europe at the moment.
Hoffenheim also have some injury problems before the next game. Bicakcic, Hubner, Stafylidis and Nordtveit are all having some fitness woes before the next match.
After scoring four times against the champion Bayern Munich, Hoffenheim will be trying to replicate this performance against Eintracht Frankfurt as well. They showed how much potential they have, but Eintracht are also unbeaten since the beginning of the season. Don’t forget about that.
