Manchester City – Norwich City
Manchester City are hosting Norwich City in a game from the final 38th round of the Premier League. The Cityzens have just one idea in mind before this match – to reach 100 goals and to have fun for the last time in the Prem this season.
You can be sure that Manchester City are not happy with their second place in the Premier League this season. Pep Guardiola and his players were unable to defend their crown and lost the title to Liverpool. Their focus at the moment lies on the Champions League, but they still need to finish the Premier League season.
So far Manchester City scored 97 goals in 37 games played. Against Norwich they will try to score at least three times and reach the impressive 100 goals landmark. Yes, it won’t bring them some kind of a special trophy, but it’s going to be good for their confidence.
In their last game Manchester City showed their muscle and celebrated a 4-0 win during the visit to Watford. Raheem Sterling proved to be a true leader and scored twice, while Laporte and Foden also put the ball in the net for Guardiola’s team. It was a good effort by the Cityzens.
Norwich City are literally not playing for anything here. The Canaries already lost their place in the Premier League and they will be in the Championship next season. They have been the weakest team in the Prem during the 2019/20 campaign, winning just 21 points. It’s not surprising that Daniel Farke’s team lost its place in the elite division.
Can Manchester City reach the 100 goals landmark against Norwich City? You can bet on this. We believe that City will score at least three times against the Canaries. The visitors already gave up and they are not really trying anymore. That’s a great chance for Man City to have some fun.
